The STIHL MSA 160 C-B is a robust battery-powered chainsaw designed for farming lifestyle blocks and landscapers. It features a commercial grade 36-volt Lithium-Ion battery and a high-torque brushless motor for instant and powerful performance. The chainsaw is equipped with a 1/4″ PM3 saw chain ensuring precise cuts and excellent cutting performance.

The STIHL Quick Chain Tensioning system allows for easy and quick adjustments while the QuickStop Super chain brake ensures user safety. The chain stops within seconds when the rear handle is released when kickback occurs or the front hand guard is activated. This safety feature provides enhanced protection in all working positions.

Weighing just 3.5kg (without battery) this chainsaw is lightweight and user-friendly for long periods of use. The ergonomically designed handle and rear control handle with soft components offer comfort and stability ensuring a secure grip in any working position.

The MSA 160 is part the STIHL AP Battery System and the same battery can be used in a wide range of tools including Hedge Trimmers Blowers Line Trimmers and Lawn Mowers from the AP Range.
